The Blue Cross Gives Reaction to APGAW Pedigree Dogs Report

The Blue Cross welcomes the report published today by The Associate Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare (APGAW): ‘A Healthier Future for Pedigree Dogs’, but echoes the concerns voiced by the veterinary profession about the need to consider non-pedigree dogs in any recommendations for the future.

The charity is also highlighting the role of pet owners in the safeguarding the future health of our dogs. Guidance for pet owners on making an informed choice before taking on a pet is available at www.bluecross.org.uk
