Breeder Admits Neglect of Staggering 99 Dogs

A woman pleaded guilty today to causing unnecessary suffering to 85 St Bernard dogs and failing to meet the welfare needs of another 14 St Bernards.

Fifty-one-year-old Mary Ellen Collis, formerly of Wardana Kennels, Brigstock, and now of Denby Lane, Wakefield, appeared at Corby Magistrates’ Court to answer charges relating to the 99 dogs in a case brought by the RSPCA.
